Tao te Ching Lite App Reviews

One of my all time favorite apps. Easy to use and you can select a random passage from the dao or read it in order. So simple and so perfect in every way.

I have the physical copy of the Tao Te Ching by the same author, and its not word-for-word the same, but that really doesnt matter. I use this daily to meditate and for when I need some insight. Ive read several translation and this is one of my favorite ones!

Translating the tao isnt just putting the words in a new language. The interpretation of the tao transcends the common sense and the autor has a fine and simple way to explain the teachings of Lao Tse.

This app works well but when you hit the twenty first page it starts soliciting you to buy more content- really distracting! Be aware this is not the whole book. This app should be called Tao Te Ching lite.

I really like this app for when I am needing a quick reminder to help me maintain internal balance and perspective! I LOVE being able to take this Classic with me wherever I go, as well as the I Ching app by the same author!

This book is like daily reminder containing a deep translation of Tao teaching. Keep in mind this book is really difficult to understand for beginner, but I recommend it to read

This is the best translation of The Tao Te Ching Ive found in an app. This free app has the first 25 verses and the first few lines of the rest but the entire book of 81 verses can be bought in app for $4.99 which is cheaper than the kindle version of this translation. Definitely worth the money its a beautifully designed app and a great translation!

I use this app one way. I get up in the morning, make a pot of coffee in a mindful way. Pour a cup, select a number at random and contemplate on the reading for the entire cup. My days are different when I do this. Better.

Im an acupuncturist and a practicing daoist for over 10 years. Ive been looking for a good version on my iPad. The presentation on this app is excellent however the translation is horrible! Also doesnt contain the classical texts. Hopefully the writer will focus more on the translation rather than the presentation.

Gives you the first few chapters then requires you to buy the rest. You own the copyright on this material, no.

Looking at the description makes you think youre getting the Tao on your phone, right? Wrong. Every other chapter shows you the first paragraph, followed by the message "Click here to buy the rest of this content." Deleting this garbage off my phone now. If I get a book, I expect to get the whole book.
